Tickets are now on sale for the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Anything Goes, starring Tony winner Sutton Foster as brassy leading lady Reno Sweeney. This classic Cole Porter musical, directed and choreographer by Kathleen Marshall, is about love aboard an ocean liner begins performances on March 10 and opens on April 7 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
Anything Goes also features Joel Grey, Jessica Walter, John McMartin, Colin Donnell, Adam Godley, Laura Osnes, Jessica Stone, Walter Charles, Robert Creighton, Andrew Cao and Raymond J. Lee.
When the S.S. American heads out to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to true love, proving that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing sailors, an exotic disguise and some good old-fashioned blackmail. The score features such classics as the title tune, as well as "You're The Top," "It's De-Lovely," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow" and "I Get a Kick Out of You." The revival features an updated book by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman.
